i need to reboot this whole blog. the presence of two blogs doesn’t help matters, but that’s not really the reason. i read tons of blogs, and my lj friends list daily, in addition to a whole mess of syndicated feeds at googlereader. i don’t need to eliminate, just refocus and decide WHY it is i’m keeping a blog, and how often i want to post. there are a ton of things i should be downloading out of my head and onto paper, or screen, or some form of media just to keep the thoughts from disintegrating into nowhere. topics i’ve been meaning to/needing to write about include – in progress review of “velvet elvis” by rob bell, debrief from a preaching class i took last week with the rest of the compass staff, thoughts about a few political issues that have been brewing for a while, as well as some poker talk.
i also have a couple ideas brewing for articles that i’d like to pursue publication with, so i might use this as a sounding board for that. so there ya go… my semi-annual promise to blog more. i hope this post finds you well. actually, i’m trying to get the crossposter to work, so i hope this post finds you.
